I cannot get over how mind-numbingly awful this entire issue was. I mean, Loeb seems to think he has the most brilliant, definitive version of Wolverine ever written, but nothing could be further from the truth. This is totally amateurish, with no grasp on the characters and no apparent understanding of the context the story is supposed to be set in. And don't even get me started on Loeb's "616 Wolverine is 400-500 years old" statements he made in interviews promoting this arc.

Um, I should have written "impressionist" instead of "impressionistic."

I wouldn't call it funny, more like lazy and derivative, the textbook cheap laugh. I don't understand how this guy never tires of the shtick of taking a classic story and just "remixing" it with overdone impressionistic first person narration captions.

Come on, the implication that Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine was 616 Wolverine's dream is pretty funny.

I was only referring to his exclusive contract that he signed quite awhile ago, but this is the first sequential work we've seen from it.

But if you think some people would actually be confused by the statement, then fair enough, I'll amend it!
