Fridays…with Greg Hatcher Archived!

Check out the categories section, folks! I just uploaded ALL of Greg’s excellent “Fridays” columns onto the blog. There are now almost two dozen more columns for you to read! Cool, eh? Check them out!

Anyone have contact info for Greg Hatcher? I wanted to suggest to him that he should submit some of his articles (in reduced form maybe) as letters to Wizard or the Comics Journal. Even if Wizard gives a snarky response at least it would get some more exposure and maybe get fans thinking about where the comic industry should be going.

I think you just did…hehe.

Hopefully he reads it then :D I was also wondering if he send out the compilations done by the kids in his class or if it’s just distributed within his community.

Bless you, this readership right here is plenty wide enough for ME. As it is Brian gave us some numbers a while ago and this is easily the most widely-read thing I’ve ever worked on. It’s really kind of frightening considering I agreed to it mostly as a lark to see if I could meet a weekly deadline. I’m already quite insecure enough now that I know what our numbers are AND that several industry pros I respect are reading the thing.

But your suggestion is very flattering and has doubtless delighted my mother. However, I try only to write for money, even if it’s a pittance; although this is kind of an exception I think one freebie’s enough.

We have a small mailing list. But mostly it’s here in Seattle.
