Comic Promotions Can Be Good!

Sometimes, promotions for comic books can be very cool. I, for one, really liked the one that “name the mystery Thunderbolt” contest Marvel did for the Avengers/Thunderbolts mini-series. That was a lot of fun. A similar amount of fun is the Temple of Atlas blog that Marvel is doing in anticipation of the upcoming Jeff Parker/Leonard Kirk series, Agents of Atlas. Check it out here. It’s an awful lot of fun, with reading games all done in the style of being agents of Atlas. Neat stuff. Well worth a look see.

*AHEM*

What about the “name the letter column and die in Issue #4″ featured in October’s Hard-Boiled Comics?

;-)

Holy crap, that thing gave me a headache. I couldn’t figure out what was going on at all. No thanks.

What’s so hard about it? Maybe you should just pick a side in Civil War.

That’s pretty cool. I’m definitely feeling good about this comic.

I guess I’m just utterly retarded then Queen B, because I couldn’t make sense out of any of it, plus my eyes would glaze over halfway through any of the posts, especially the prose part. The posts were a little too long.
