Hello I am so happy I found your weblog, I really found you by error, while I was searching on Yahoo for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say many thanks for a marvelous post and a all round interesting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to go through it all at the minute but I have book-marked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read much more, Please do keep up the awesome job.

History of the DCU in 52 = massive, massive waste of time, space and effort.I mean, it doesn’t even go into any detail about anything – just a quick, whiizzy skim-through-everything. You could pick up the same (or more) information from looking at the back cover of 10 or 20 randomly selected graphic novels in the local comic shop. Bah.

I had the same reaction to the Ultimate FF issue. On the page where they diappear, I was like “god damn it, this is going to turn out stupid isn’t it.?” And it was. I would think the Baxter Building would have higher standards when it came to security guards.

(1) American Virgin SOUNDED really interesting. But in practice… Big ‘ol Bucket of boring.

(2) I really, reallly, reallly liked the first issue of the last Kev series.

(3) This is the first week in a while I didn’t buy any new comics. Although I did pick up Licensable Bear # 3.

If Geoff Johns is paying attention, then he’s building Hal as someone who still takes responsibility even though “I’m being controlled” is a perfectly legitimate excuse.

If he’s not, then I win a no-prize and am disgusted with myself for rationalizing bad characterization.

And yeah, about a zillion different Avengers covers flashed into my head at the end of GLC #2. “Giant-Man…he’s…DEAD!”

If Civil War is actually just an Atlantean plot, I might actually start paying attention to it, if only to find out how they pull that off!

I like passwords. I will say them in a real important tone and confuse bystanders.
