The night Kevin Spacey was on The Daily Show, my girlfriend looked at me and said, "Is Lex Luthor the bad guy?"

Have to admit, I was a little disappointed in her. I thought that one was a gimme.

I bet "vulnerable to Kryptonite" would actually be ahead of "Lex Luthor" in the common knowledge about Superman.

I've always loved Fradon's work, but I didn't know how much until I picked up Showcase Presents Metamorpho. Not only are the stories awesome in their own right (Metamorpho defeats a space-alien by wailing on an unplugged electric guitar), but all that gorgeous black-and-white Fradon has got to be one of the premier examples of comic book art.
