I just saw a headline on WizardUniverse – “BLACK POWER: SPIDEY TO MAKE RETURN TO RETRO COSTUME.” Are we THAT hard up for puns involving the color black?

No no no, Quesada said that Spidey going back to the black costume is but a coincidence, and has nothing to do with the film. Honestly.
…
Given that they’re so hard up for story ideas that they think putting Spider-Man in an old costume is good enough, I’d say it’s not surprising that they can’t come up with any good puns either.
