What about trying to create a product appealing to a new demographic requires such a drastic change? All they have to do is publish a comic that appeals to 7th grade girls. That's why Marvel and DC will never really court that market. They don't want it. It'll chase away their current fnabase, and chances are they'd have to start doing things A LOT differently.

Exactly. That’s why Marvel and DC will never really court that market. They don’t want it. It’ll chase away their current fnabase, and chances are they’d have to start doing things A LOT differently.
