I love it!! That’s my explanation now, too!

Hardcore Station was retcon punched into existence!!

I really am quite unsettled that I have no memory of Hardcore Station. Doing some checking, it even guest-starred the JLA in the last issue!! How do I have no recollection of this comic book?!!?

Yeah, when I heard that Starlin wanted to use Adam Strange, but at the last moment, was told Strange was busy, I thought that Starlin would just kill Captain Comet so he could use a recognizable name to just do a new character who was basically Adam Strange.

Oh yeah, I think the new body is silly, too. I liked the Rann/Thanagar War look, too. However, when this was first hyped up, it was referred to as “the NEW Captain Comet,” so I’m just so pleased to see it not actually being a new Captain Comet that they could pretty much do any weird thing with the character and I’d be happy so long as it basically stayed the same guy!

Actually, that new younger body did annoy me a bit. I liked the fully gray hair he had in RTW.

Aside from that, though, I liked the whole thing.
