It looks sort of cool, but also extremely fake.

I put most of the ‘fakeness’ down to the quality of the video… I think (hope) most of the effects will look cool in the movie.

I put the fakeness down as Miller’s Movie Trademark. Sin City had a similar feel to it and it worked well there so he seems to have just carried this look over to 300.
