Wolverine is Canadian, Banshee is Irish, Fire is Brazilian, Nightcrawler is German, Ice is, what, Norwegian?, Crimson Fox is French, Tuatara is probably from New Zealand, because that’s the only place a tuatara lives.
Ha! I took all the easy ones, suckers!

The male Talisman is Australian. He was in the original Contest of Champions. I believe the rest has been called by now.

Goofy ass question: Are there two or more Arabian Knights? Back in the Hulk’s early 80s tour of the Mideast, he encountered Sabra in Israel and an Arabian Knight (I think) in Egypt.
Two issues later he ran afoul of Ursa Major and the rest of the Soviet Super Soldiers. (Are they now based in Russia? Ukraine? Latervia?)

The second Arabian Knight just made his debut the other week, unless you count the one in Black Panther, which I don’t.

19/20, I can live with that (and I guessed right that Defensor was from “Contest of Champions”) - but, wow, you mostly picked some awfully obvious ones. Centrix, for example - that would have been tough.

Didn’t Origin retcon Logan into an American?
And Thunderlord was Taiwanese.

I am far from an expert, but I am incredibly anal, so I think that Defensor is from Argentina, Impala is actually from Zambia, and although Crimson Fox is certainly ethnically French, I think that an issue of JLE established that they were actually born in Algeria.

This is all off the top of my head (and with a very quick scroll–down to the posting field to avoid reading what’s already up, honest!) to be fair. Wolverine (Canadian), Banshee (Irish) and Nightcrawler (German, Austrian or something of the sort) are the only characters I recognized for sure. I think that Spitfire is the flame–powered woman from Roy Thomas’s Invaders (and, if so, English). Crimson Fox was the subject of one of the recent Urban Legend pieces and seemed French there. Bushmaster sounds Australian. I guess that’s just me not reading much in the way of new comics in the past dozen years. Even so, it was fun, Brian. Thanks. Let’s post this and check the others.

Now I’ve looked. I should have suspected the Global Guardians, which Andrew Collins gave a “yay!” Me, my first thought was, “That’s taking the easy way out,” but I’ll admit that there may not have been enough “foreign” heroes in US–distributed comics otherwise. Hope you’re planning on posting a definitive right–answers list (or at least saying, “So–and–so got them all right, check his list”). If Nightcrawler is German, rather than Austrian (and I see that I’m not the only one to consider THAT possibility) or Swiss or something, then, given the fact that he debuted in the mid–70s and would have been born in the ’50s, East or West should need to be specified.

Post–mortem:
My apologies for failing to notice the DC & Marvel proviso.
Since Nightcrawler IS German, West or East does indeed need to be indicated, but it has since occurred to me that maybe MARVEL never did so, which certainly lets YOU off that hook!
