Remember that neat Klezmer book I wrote about awhile back (if you missed it, read about it here)?
Well, the creator behind that book, artist/writer Joann Sfar will be at the New York City Barnes and Noble (675 6th Avenue) from eight until ten on November 7th. He’ll be doing a presentation about his graphic novels, his background, and–for a touch of klezmer–he will be playing his banjo.
Pretty cool, eh? Maybe yours truly will even attend!

Joann Sfar has done some great comics in his career so far. Vampire Loves has also been translated to English recently and I don’t know if Donjon is still being published in the US (I know it was for a while, translated as ‘Dungeon’ I believe) but that is some really funny stuff.
