1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave?

Not a Bat-fan, to be honest, but I just read the bit about her in Birds of Prey #99, complete with the mortuary draw scene. Hey, if you die in the line of duty, surely some comemoration is due.

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?

Tony Stark probably will, but not as Iron Man. Someone needs to pay for the Goliath incident. I do like the Hawkeye as The New Iron Man idea, though - nice one!

7. Would Phoenix: Warsong be better off just using stick figures?

If it's not the classic costume, it just doesn't work for me, no matter who draws it (and Land didn't help last time round, to be honest). Maybe the Phoenix Force needs a new twist, perhaps like Captain Universe...?

10. How bizarrely ugly is Katana’s new costume?

Ewww.

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask?

Sounds like the only sensible get-out for the unmasking business. Yeah, that would work.

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?

Haven't read anything with him in it, but if he's kicking Shi'ar ass (which they've been needing for a while - who do they think they are, whimping out of fighting the Annihilation Wave?) that's to be congratulated. >:)

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far.

Just after the Streaky The Supercat mini-series, I imagine.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family?

Karnak - until they come up with a really good use of his "sensing weaknesses" in his targets. Maybe "Silent War" will do something for his character.

1. Yes.

2. Is that a joke? Er, Shira Brie?

3. Achchachachachacha!

4. No.

5. And it really looked like Ben killed that bunny in front of Sawyer, didn't it?

6. It's Lobdell's best work in years, too. Shucks.

9. Saying a Tom DeFalco comic hasn't "aged well" is like saying Aaron Sorkin is verbose.

11. Very, VERY well. Hey, anyone notice this is like the longest time she's had one costume?

17. Gorgon. Do you trust a guy with hooves? I don't trust a guy with hooves.

18. GREAT NEWS

19. Bad news.

20. Good news.

1. Stephanie Brown --

Absolutely! She was Robin for almost a year, and was a WAY better Robin than that Dinosaur.

2. Greatest SW character --

Melvin Fett, Boba's loser brother.

Star Wars Tales # 20 is damn near the greatest comic ever.

3. Smart Kid, Reed Richards --

They're bitching about this A LOT on the Rumbles Board on the forums here. I'm on whatever side the Rumbles board isn't (I wasn't paying that much attention.)

4. Iron Man Survives Civil War --

Sure. If they kill him they'd have to kill Cap. (I think. Haven't been reading Civil War. Or anything that ties in with Civil War.)

7. Phoenix: Endsong --

Haven't read, but I'm seriously considering shelling out eight bucks for the issue with the Stepford Cuckoos cover.

Then I still won't read it.

9. Spider-Girl:

Yeah. SPider-Girl is already dated. But, I dunno, being like a really bad eighties comic is somehow more charming than being like a really bad current comic.

10. Katana's Costume:

It's not THAT bad. Kind of JudoMaster-y. Solid C +.

11. Beyond- Hank and the Wasp.

All that obnoxious "Let's share our FEEEELINGS" in that last issue got on my nerves, but when he's not beating us over the head with relationship drama for 12 straight pages, it was handled well.

16. JLA Table -- .. Are you ripping off my bridge joke?

Anyway, yes.

17. Least Favorite Inhuman --

Crystal. Boring design, weird power-set I never really understood. Also, HUGE bitch.

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave?
No, she was fired from the job. While we're at it, why is the Jason Todd display still around.

2. Who is the greatest Star Wars character to be created in the comic books?
Those slacker stormtroopers from Twisted Toyfare Theatre. Do they count?

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?
Yes, but not in one piece...
Is anyone getting out of this one in intact (and as a viable ongoing comicbook toon)? Seriously, I won't be surprised if they said that they stopped using the Earth 616 continuity and we have been following an alternate universe based on the Ultimates for the last several months. Painted themselves into a corner in this one - no way to get out of it without making a bigger mess.

7. Would Phoenix: Warsong be better off just using stick figures?
It had better be damn good looking stick figures!

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask?
Yes.

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?
No - I can't get over his origin that requires a massive continuity shoehorn and Prof X needlessly acting like a criminal. Ditto with the above Iron Man question. Character is built in messed up (and not in a good way). I always thought Cable was totally impossible to explain to a non-comicbook reader. Vulcan is far worse.

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far.
Yes.

18. Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness - good news or great news?
meh...

1. No. This is not a gender issue. She died as Spoiler, not Robin, and therefore was no longer part of the world that the batcave represents. Just as Nightwing would not recieve a case if he were to die(I hope).

3. Cho's entry into Reed's computer system utiilized Banner's work, not his own. Once in, he used the data he found(which is HIS POWER) and generally acted like a sanctimonius little brat. The satalite MX took over was an old S.H.I.E.L.D model that Reed openly admitted he had not had time to update. I fail to see how how he 'outsmarted' Reed. I'll agree with the previous poster, best tie-in yet, consider me a MX fan.

4. God, I hope not.

7. Stick figures, hell, I'll write it too.

9. You don't have to read Spider-Girl to understand that at the time of that mini she had given up her costumed identity.

10. Grade F.

12. Nah. She was always trying to help out the Hulk, ultimate manifestation of the Freudian ID. Not to big of a stretch, really.

13. Yes. I actually want this to happen now.

14. You'd think Brubaker created the character the way he's slapping everyone around. -_-

15. The night wing.

16. I'd pay for trading cards made to resemble that set of photos.

17. Medusa.

18. Fan-$%^&!#@-tastic news.

19. Yay, says I.

20. Nightwing is in such a sorry state, it can only be improved at this point.

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave?

Yes, and the one to Jason Todd should be removed. To many dead bodies stink up the place.

2. Who is the greatest Star Wars character to be created in the comic books?

Tag and Bink. Hands down.

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?
Ummmm... at this point is he really worth saving? I love Iron Man, but I hate what is happening now. Extremis? Civil War? Onslaught Reborn? Go for broke and bring back teen Stark!

10. How bizarrely ugly is Katana’s new costume?
It looks like Manhunter's costume.

11. How well do you think Dwayne McDuffie is handling Hank Pym and the Wasp in Beyond!?
Love it. The Beyond series has been surprisingl fun and enjoyable. Someone should do a study about the inverse relationshup between the amount of hype marvel spends on a series and its enjoyability. (See Civil War, Secret Wars, Planet Hulk, Identity Disc)

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask?
The symbiote made me do it!

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?
Nope.

15. What is a better name for Nightwing’s grappling hook system than “the winger”?
"Go go gadget arms?"

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far.
It can cross-over with the bridge from spiderman.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family?
Anyone not named Blackbolt

18. Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness - good news or great news?
This is running dangerously close to getting totally watered down. The original appearances of the zombies in UFF was cool. The mini-series was enjoyable. But now they are really starting to push it.

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?
Nope.

15. What is a better name for Nightwing’s grappling hook system than “the winger”?
“Go go gadget arms?”

Army of Darkness – good news or great news?
This is running dangerously close to getting totally watered down. The original appearances of the zombies in UFF was cool. The mini-series was enjoyable. But now they are really starting to push it.

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave? Normally I would say no, but I realize that the showcase for Jason Todd is now completely meaningless, so one for Stephanie to remind Bruce about what he did wrong there might be worthwhile.

2. Who is the greatest Star Wars character to be created in the comic books? The one that they put in the prequels that I forget the name of.

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War? Yes. They can't cancel his book. I dont think he will be well liked by the other heroes after Civil War, but I dont think they are going to kill him. They'll try to give him some sort of redemption.

7. Would Phoenix: Warsong be better off just using stick figures? YES. Honestly, Warsong would be better off if cancelled.

8. Did you read the info posted on the pages in the Nightly News before or after you read the story part of the pages? I havent read The Nightly News yet. I really need to buy the first issue.

10. How bizarrely ugly is Katana’s new costume? Beats me, I stoped reading Outsiders a long time ago.

11. How well do you think Dwayne McDuffie is handling Hank Pym and the Wasp in Beyond!? Let me tell you, he got me actually interested in their relationship again. Something no ones done in quite some time.

12. Isn’t it awfully weird that Jennifer Walters is a therapist in Fantastic Four: The End? Kinda. I wonder if she stopped Bruce Banner from getting angry.

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask? maybe...actually, that would be a solution, wouldnt it...

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men? Yeah, he works.

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far. haha.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family? hmmm. Is his name Trident or something?

19. Tad Williams on Aquaman - good news or bad news? Who cares.

20. Jamal Igle on Nightwing - good news or bad news? Keep Wolfman.

1. I think she never should have been killed off, but yeah, I say pay some tribute to her. It's better than that snot Jason Todd ever deserved...

2. That green bunny guy...Jaxon, I think...

3. Didn't read Hulk #100, but at this point in Civil War, the Impossible Man is starting to look smarter than Reed Richards...

4. Iron Man? Well, if we're to believe Lying In The Gutters...

5. Don't read Authority, but if Midnighter survived losing a heart...THAT'S badass!

6. Didn't care either way...

7. Anything with Phoenix, at this point, would be better off not existing at all...

8. Don't read it.

9. Nature of spin-offs, I guess.

10. Katana's new outfit does suck pretty bad. I liked her original the most, but I have a soft spot for her most recent costume in Outsiders. The one with the "rising sun" logo that just screams "Hey, look at my right boob!"

11. Haven't read Beyond, but I have more faith in McDuffie than a great many other writers out there now...

12. It's not She-Hulk, but Doc Samson in drag!

13. The new Spider-Man? Iron Fist!

14. Back in my day, we had two Summers brothers and that's the way we liked it! Harumph...

15. Winger? How about the Warrnt? Or the Poison? How about the Ratt?!

16. I think the table should be given its own series, but only after they give one to the War Wheel from Blackhawk...

17. All of them but Medusa...Rrrrowrrrr....

18. Only if it came with an audio CD of Bruce Campbell acting out the comic scene for scene...

19. Dropped it with Busiek, not likely to pick it back up for Williams...wish him all the best luck though...

20. Good news for Igle and Nightwing fans. He's a fantastic artist. Bad news for Firestorm fans like me, who will miss his beautiful, crisp style...

5. I'm pretty sure either the second heart was put back in after the storyline was over (If Bendix was able to figure out a way to put it there in the first place, there's really no reason The Engineer shouldn't be able to figure out some way to do that as well,) or that Captain Atom Armageddon erased that storyline from continuity during the reboot.

11. I think McDuffie's been doing a pretty excellent job with all the characters of Beyond! especially Hank and Jan. I also think he deserves some kudos for how well he's writing The Hood and adapting a previously mature readers exclusive character to a more all-ages series without compromising the fundamental essence of the character. The conversations between Firebird and The Wasp and The Hood and Gravity in the most recent issue were both great insights into the characters and the contradictions of their emotional lives, and I'm looking forward to reading the conclusion of the series next issue.

10. Screw the costume her HAIR looks ugly.

16. No, the table is only promenently featured because Brad Meltzer has refused to pick up story pace.

19. I just picked up issues #1-5 on "The Next" and have to say I really enjoyed it. Tad Williams seems to have this Morrison "fun, loopy concept" thing down, except this actually might wrap up in a logical way. Based soley on this, I am interested in seeing what he can do with Aquaman's world.

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave?

Be a bit dickish of Batman not to, wouldn't it? Besides, Jason Todd is... mutated or something, but maybe alive.

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?

He survived The Crossing, didn't he?

5. Didn’t Seth already remove Midnighter’s other heart?

Captain Atom punched the universe.

6. So wait, Manifest Eternity isn’t going to have an ending? What’s up with THAT?

Poor sales.

7. Would Phoenix: Warsong be better off just using stick figures?

Hell yes!

10. How bizarrely ugly is Katana’s new costume?

So astonishingly ugly, I can only assume it's on purpose. Seriously, what the hell is with that coat thing hanging off of her waist?

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask?

Probably going to happen.

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?

Yes, actually. I shouldn't, but the awesomeness of Brubaker wins out.

15. What is a better name for Nightwing’s grappling hook system than “the winger”?

The Angst-shot?

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far.

Only if it has to verbally announce its powers everytime it uses them.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family?

Triton. Stupid fish. Or Bolt and Medusa's kid if he counts.

18. Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness - good news or great news?

JOY.

19. Tad Williams on Aquaman - good news or bad news?

Good. It frees up Kurt Busiek for bigger and better things. Aquaman can go hang for all I care.

20. Jamal Igle on Nightwing - good news or bad news?

If Didio really had killed Nightwing, I wouldn't have minded a bit.

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave? I believe she should be stuffed and mounted in the Bat Cave, riding on the shoulders of the T-Rex. Do T-Rex's have shoulders?

2. Who is the greatest Star Wars character to be created in the comic books?

I don't read any, but there was some red guy who looked like Darth Maul meets Squidhead on a recent cover. He looked cool.

3. The way that super smart kid in Incredible Hulk #100 made Reed Richards look so bad, wouldn’t you almost think the character was created by the writer of the story?

Yes. But I don't mind that.

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?

Yes, but he'll hand his costume over to Hawkeye.

5. Didn’t Seth already remove Midnighter’s other heart?

I think so.

6. So wait, Manifest Eternity isn’t going to have an ending? What’s up with THAT?

Did it have a beginning?

7. Would Phoenix: Warsong be better off just using stick figures?

Maybe. I like the storyline.

8. Did you read the info posted on the pages in the Nightly News before or after you read the story part of the pages?

That's some sort of indie book or something?

9. Isn’t it kind of silly to open up Avengers Next #1 tying in with current events in Spider-Girl? When the mini-series is collected, it’s not going to age well for the story, I think.

Yeah.

10. How bizarrely ugly is Katana’s new costume?

It suits the book.

11. How well do you think Dwayne McDuffie is handling Hank Pym and the Wasp in Beyond!?

I dunno. I don't want them together though.

12. Isn’t it awfully weird that Jennifer Walters is a therapist in Fantastic Four: The End?

Yeah.

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask?

Yes.

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?

Not really.

15. What is a better name for Nightwing’s grappling hook system than “the winger”?

Why does it need one?

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far.

At the end of Meltzer's run, it will be revealed to have been J'onn J'onnz the whole time.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family?

18. Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness - good news or great news?

I am indifferent.

19. Tad Williams on Aquaman - good news or bad news?

Good news. Death to Aqua-Conan and unemployment for his creator!

20. Jamal Igle on Nightwing - good news or bad news?

Good news. He's a pretty good artist. It's not a book I care about, but the fans should be pleased.

3. The way that super smart kid in Incredible Hulk #100 made Reed Richards look so bad, wouldn’t you almost think the character was created by the writer of the story?

Yes. But I don’t mind that.

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?

Yes, but he’ll hand his costume over to Hawkeye.

That’s some sort of indie book or something?

I dunno. I don’t want them together though.

At the end of Meltzer’s run, it will be revealed to have been J’onn J’onnz the whole time.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family?

18. Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness – good news or great news?

I am indifferent.

19. Tad Williams on Aquaman – good news or bad news?

Good news. Death to Aqua-Conan and unemployment for his creator!

20. Jamal Igle on Nightwing – good news or bad news?

Good news. He’s a pretty good artist. It’s not a book I care about, but the fans should be pleased.

1. Yep

4. He's been shown in the preview pages for Mighty Avengers... but the way he's written implies that it's someone not very familiar with the armor. Though that could always be explained by it's being written by Bendis.

10. Really ugly, especially the hair.

13. It would fit his past actions as a character though.

15. "The Night Ranger"!

17. Gorgon

19. Kinda iffy, he doesn't, as of yet, have the draw Busiek does. The book has been kinda slow and the coloring really muddy so maybe those things will improve with the creative changes. I'll give the title another shot, I like Aquaman.

20. Good news!

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave?

Sure, if Jason got one why not Steph. She wore the costume and did the job.

2. Who is the greatest Star Wars character to be created in the comic books?

eh... from the old Marvel Comics I liked Baron Tagge, from the new ones I like the new Emperor in Legacy (the Emperor-in-Exile, not Darth Krayt)

5. Didn’t Seth already remove Midnighter’s other heart?

He regrew it, where is my no-prize.

6. So wait, Manifest Eternity isn’t going to have an ending? What’s up with THAT?

Laws of probability are a bitch.

16. Should the table from Justice League of America get a spin-off? It’s been featured so prominently in three issues so far.

No, but he may be a supporting character in the Adventures of the Giant Penny in the Bat-Cave.

17. Who is your least favorite of the Inhuman royal family?

Triton, never did much and we already have fish-guys in Marvel... many of them and all of them more interesting.

18. Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness - good news or great news?

Good news, even though I'm not a zombie fan.

19. Tad Williams on Aquaman - good news or bad news?

I don't think I have ever read anything by Tad Williams.

1. Do you think Stephanie Brown (the female Robin) should have a showcase in the Bat Cave?
Nope!

4. Will Iron Man survive Civil War?
Yeah, considering that he's going to be leading the Mighty Avengers.

5. Didn’t Seth already remove Midnighter’s other heart?
They can do wonderful things with surgery these days...

11. How well do you think Dwayne McDuffie is handling Hank Pym and the Wasp in Beyond!?
Very well! I can't wait to see how the series ends and what McDuffie does on FF.

12. Isn’t it awfully weird that Jennifer Walters is a therapist in Fantastic Four: The End?
It makes a weird kind of sense, I think.

13. Wouldn’t it be hilariously awesome if Spider-Man went to the black costume after Civil War and convinced everyone he was a different person now under the mask?
That'd be true to form! He should bring back the Slingers personas.

14. Do you like Vulcan in Uncanny X-Men?
A third Summers brother that isn't the product of bad writing? Yes I like him!

15. What is a better name for Nightwing’s grappling hook system than “the winger”?
I kind of like "grappling hook system," myself. "Winger" is super-corny.

20. Jamal Igle on Nightwing - good news or bad news?
Great news! Igle does good work.

8. I did read the info, but I liked the way the captions said something like, "skip this if it bores you!" Loved the book, by the way.

1. Yes. But it would be better if they resurrected her somehow. Of course, I didn't read the story; I only know it by reputation. But, yeah, give her some respect, especially if they want her death to mean something.

10. Ugly costume, but my question is why she's fighting Danger from Astonishing X-Men. Why didn't anybody say anything about this crossover?!

15. I think The Winger is a great name, in a stupid way. Nightwing should start adding a wing- prefix to all his tools like Batman does with his stuff. Wingmobile. Wingrope. Shark-repellant wing-spray.

I don't know what's stranger about the Katana picture, the outfit (especially that thing around her midsection) or the "fighting Rockette" pose she has going on. What is she kicking?
