In his most recent Joe Fridays column, Joe Quesada announced a neat event coming to New York City this coming Friday:
November 10th, four bands, each containing at least one member of the Marvel staff will be performing at Blaggard’s Pub at 8 West 38th street between 5th and 6th Avenues, a mere block away from the House of Ideas.My band Idlechatter will be opening the festivities at 8Pm so come on down it’s going to be a blast and you’re almost certain to run into your favorite Marvel Editor and maybe even a creator or three. Editor Nick Lowe will be the master of ceremony which should be fun as he isn’t very funny at all and has terrible stage fright and if I have my way, I’m going to find a manner by which to get Tom Brevoort on mic to sing a little ditty.
Sounds pretty neat!
