Actually, it was kind of crappy, I had to teach class till 9 last night and came home too wiped out to even think of any celebrating. And my freelance checks were delayed because of the holiday so there wasn't any money for Julie to do anything for it anyway, which was making her very agitated, she always wants it to be a pageant.
Seeing the various online good wishes here and on the forums certainly takes the edge off it, though. Thank you all.
The checks arrived, finally, so that takes a huge knot of tension out of my back. Along with the checks were a wad of old funnybooks from eBay and some other novels and things that were coming media mail, so it was LIKE having presents waiting when I finally got home.
Joe? How the hell are you? Great to hear from you! For chrissakes write or call or something.
