2011 Top Marvel Characters #64-61
After nearly 1,400 ballots were cast, YOU the reader ranked your favorite comic book characters from 1-10. I assigned point totals to each ranking and then tabulated it all into a Top 100 list. We’re now revealing that list throughout Christmas Eve. Here is the master list of all the characters revealed so far. The countdown continues anew…
64. Mary Jane Watson – 258 points (1 first place vote)

63. Wasp (Janet Van Dyne)– 264 points (4 first place votes)

62. Howard the Duck – 265 points (4 first place votes)

61. Archangel (Warren Worthington) – 270 points (3 first place votes)

I can’t believe that ________ wasn’t higher. They should have been in the Top 10! (Along with the other fourteen characters I said should be in the Top 10.)

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to post basically the same thing without coming off as an jerk. Nicely done, Rusty.

Fourteen actually seems a little conservative. Anyway, good list today. Especially happy to see Warren and Howard show up.

Funny you should use the cover of the single worst issue of Avengers ever published to showcase the Wasp. Lobdell lost what little respect I had for him after I read that piece of crap.

Archangel looks like he is in the midsts of the worst bowel movement ever in that cover

Wasp tended to not get very many spotlight covers, sadly.

The best cover spotlighting the Wasp was actually Spectacular Spider-Man #105.

Yeah, Mary, agreed – but I really didn’t want to use a non-Avengers cover.
