Didn’t Screech become a porn star or something? And what’s going on with Superman’s eyebrows on cover 14?

The Screech porn-thing was pretty underwhelming. I’m still waiting fr the Rosanne Barr/willard Scott sex tape to become public!
I always loved the fact that Powerman was putting paper chains on the tree. Sweet Christmas!

I’m a big fan of a Spectre X-mas cover. Can’t remember the issue number, but he was riding in Santa’s sleigh and has skeleton reindeer.

#2 is from 1988? Someone didn’t see the updated look on Donna Troy, did they?

That special reprinted past X-Mas comics and the cover reflected that (see Dick Grayson as Robin, Wildfire, and old school Green Arrow on the cover, too). I think the #3 choice is reprinted in that special.

No Walt Kelly?? He did Christmas covers yearly for nearly a decade. His Christmas with Mother Goose covers for Dell Four Color are as classic as Norman Rockwell.

Why does the boring DC cover get its wraparound backside shown, when the Marvel one doesn’t?

“Didn’t Screech become a porn star or something?”
Last I heard of him was about six months ago where he had a net campaign to save his house.
The bank was going to take it away and so he was asking for donations and selling t-shirts about saving his house.
He even did a radio interview.
Problem was, there was nothing sinister about the bank – he was over due in his payments and his credit card was maxed out.
He was asking others to save his big house, because he couldn’t manage his money properly.
That crazy screech!

I was a bit off on the details, but basically Screech wants you to buy back his house for him (because he’s credit is so bad he can’t get a loan).

That Uncanny X-Men cover (6) would be my number 1 in this, the Teen Titans cover (3) is pretty clever too.
I refuse too say anything about Saved By The Bell.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say you’ve done a great job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Opera. Outstanding Blog!
