Actually, one of the creepiest things in Archie comics is when they DO have “real” people appear in the comics.
Because the Archie house style does not mix well with drawing people to appear like real people, so the result is a really weird mish-mosh.

I kid. But I can easily envision you drawn in the Archie house style, and it wouldn’t look that weird. (Has Archie ever met a Jewish person? Would he start lecturing you about the Gospels?)
Well, whatever the consequences, I’d put up with looking creepy if it meant a date with Veronica! Jeff Brady and I have been hoping for a double date with Peppermint Patty and Marcie, but getting it on in Riverdale has its appeal too…

But even if you gave her a vibrator, she’d just describe it as “exciting and vibrant, like a Nicholas Sparks novel”.
