"Didn’t Brian Bolland draw a Zatanna Prestige format 1-shot a couple of years ago? Or was that just the cover? I’m thinking he drew the whole thing, but I can’t remember."

Bolland just did the cover. Rick Mays drew the interior and while he was no Bolland, he did a pretty good job with it.

"the questionable ethics of her mind wipes alarmed some leaguers, creating trust issues which eventually helped drive her from the team. Since then, Zatanna has rebuilt her reputation..."

....Damn it, those things at the back of 52 annoy me SO bad. First they do the Robin one and completely neglect to mention the Spoiler chick.....mind you, they forgot to mention her in the Batman flashback story, too.....THEN they basically put a big pile of blame on Zatanna for being the main screwup in Identity Crisis because of her completely overblown mindwipe. What, like common sense would dictate that she didn't have much choice with A BUNCH OF HUGE ASSED DUDES WITH SUPERPOWERS AND WEAPONS YELLING AT HER TO DO IT. Meanwhile Brad Meltzer thinks he's made a lasting contribution to pop culture through the sale of his NAMTAB POTS t-shirts.

Oh, and don't get me started on the Blue Beetle origin, where you'd assume there'd been nobody in the role before the new kid.

I hate you, DC. I hate you and you smell.

you should have read 52 from the begining. Its kept me on the edge of my seat since the first issue. If you want to know whats going on wizard or newsarama has weekly breakdowns of the issue. I think they have it back to issue 1
