I saw the show on youtube but only one episoide.It made no since but is really funny and cool.I am a big spidey fan so I respect the show.I never read any of the comic books.

Try collecting a Near Mint complete run of this series!
They are not worth a lot of money, but they are so hard to find, especially in grade. Most dealers didn’t keep them in their inventory.

The John Romita cover on the first issue is very nice isn’t?

Electric Company was a very cool show.
I was happily surprised when I recently found out there are a few dvd collections available.

Moondragon looks totally hot there.

I can imagine many a 6-year old being strangely confused sexually about it.

I have an issue with Dr. Strange (yes, what a shock) and he transports Captain America throughout time to revisit early American history.

Sadly, I can’t recall the total story and I haven’t unpacked my old magazines format comics yet.

Needless to say, it was delightfully cheesy with a somewhat educational nature for young readers.

Spiderman? Elton John? Dude, I would pay good money to see that. Especially if Spidey is fighting Elton John. Elton John in a gigantic robot body.

Hey, i have a few issues of this somewhere. I remember there was one issue where either Spiderman was trying to save, or fighting Elton John. That was fun. I loved this book when I was younger.

Are you sure itâ€™s not one of those things that seemed awesome at the time but when you go back to it years later its crushingly disappointing?

“Awesome at the time” is good enough. Anything that was an entry point for so many kids to comics is also an entry point to READING… which, is it happens, is another reason comics are awesome. Hell, even Easy Reader knew that.

Stilt-Man looks like it was drawn by someone who had heard the name but never actually seen a picture.

Well, I do love Bronze Age goofiness. I do love the anthology format. I do love stories that can come to a satisfying conclusion in a handful of pages. I’ll definitely have to look into Spidey Super Stories.

One of my first comics was an issue of Spider Superstories that featured Spidery and Captain Britain (in his original costume) teaming up to fight Jack O’Lantern. It was awesome. I wish I still had that issue now…

Love it – I still own a paperback of “greatest hits” Spidey Super Stories. It sits beside the pic of me from nursery school with my blue spidey-logo shirt (in my mind only – the action figures are in a auxillary room since the 40 Year Old Virgin came out).

It sucks, Peter was my favorite character in my youth, but I can’t read any of his books now. ASM has left me cold since the end of the Ezekial saga. USM lost me when Bendis killed Gwen. Maybe I need to try Marvel Adventures….
