They work very well as individual issues, though. There's a lost art to the individuals that build to a whole.

This is a book that I'm really dying to read, but I'm waiting for the collection. More and more, particularly with indie stuff, I want to have it on my shelf rather than little pamphlet form. I think, actually, that Pertesen should consider releasing graphic novels rather than mini series.

Loved the book and psyched it's getting the hardcover treatment. I met Petersen at WW: Chicago and he was really nice and he gave a cool quick sketch.

Sorry Joe, I should have said something yesterday. I love Mouse Guard, and the sixth issue was great! That Peterson guy is a damn good artist. And good for you for getting kids interested in it! Maybe I'll buy the collection for my nephews or something.

I didn't even realize issue 6 was out yet. Have to make a trip to the store soon now. This was one of the best truly "all-ages" titles I've ever read. If I knew some little kids I would probably share this with them...since I don't (thank God...) I shall enjoy it all by lonesome. Excellent book...can't wait for the planned sequel.
