MAX PUNISHER is one of the best comics coming out right now, easily one of the best things Ennis has ever done is his career. It blows both PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL and THE BOYS out of the water, yet it's sorely under-read.

"It was perfectly decent set up; the tone of the book is somewhere between the wonderful lunacy of Nextwave and the shocking blandness of his Ultimate Fantastic Four run. "

See, I still can't bring myself to buy NextWave, despite all the good reviews it gets here, and yet I thought his 'Doom' storyline in UFF was fantastic, and got me really excited about UFF - then again, it could be because the only copy of it I could find was in Hardback, and so I had to read Bendis and Millar's lacklusture effort again.
