"I probably wouldn’t stop buying his comics even if he included personal attacks directed at me in the dialogue."

That's a good thing to know, because in the next issue of The Spirit, Denny and Ellen get into a huge argument over whether you're a paste-eating doodyhead. (Spoiler: Ellen's got your back.)

Tanget:
should we blame JMS for the O-face or the artist who rendered it so it burnedinto our brains? Or perhaps both shouldget the "credit"

Don't tell me the comic store staff were also friendly! I may just faint. Now, go back in a year from now and check to see how things have changed; see if the lights are burnt out, the boxes have arrive, the staff stopped showering and their patience worn thin. =]

JMS's Spider-Ham comic is HORRIBLE. Worse than you can imagine. It's not even a story. It starts off with promise, then it has a bunch of literally random splash pages and ends with a deus ex machina. Bad, bad news.

"which I lost interest in way before seeing Norman Osborn’s O-Face became a major plot development"

I was reading M. Parkinson's Year One comic strip today, which featured Norman Osborn, and all I could think of was that picture of his O-Face. It's burned into my brain! Curse you JMS!
