Usagi Yojimbo is usually 24 pages with no ads for $2.99. # 100 was 32 pages with no ads. So 51 cents more isn't too bad. The cover was also heavier stock than normal.

Check out www.usagiyojimbo.com for future story hints and covers. You are correct that we should get a normal story next month. Looking forward to it already.

I haven't quite decided if # 100 would have been better as a special outside the series numbering.

Please don’t tell me fanboys are so sad that they didn’t check out David’s run (even after U-Decide), but they will check out this one because it’s the ‘real’ Captain Marvel!

But it's not the real one! Billy Batson is the real one! Heh.

"The weird thing about Civil War: The Return (apart from why they would bring back Captain Marvel at all) was not that it was particualy bad, but that only the first thirteen pages was about Captain Marvel; the rest of it was a Sentry back up. Not bad just utterly pointless. "

Have people been calling for the return of Captain Marvel?

I mean after struggling to get people to buy Peter Davids series about him (and Fabian Nicieza's before that), do they actually think 'the concepts a winner, it's just the man in the suit that has to change'.

As for bad books, I brought the trade for Aquaman: Sword Of Atlantis.
I've read the first issue.
Should I read the rest?

My thought on CW: The Return was that it wasn't really a comic at all--it was basically an ad for Captain Marvel #1. It really felt like a sneak preview they charged money for. Not exactly bad, but far too short and perfunctory to really be considered a "story". It was just, "A hole opened up in time, here's Captain Marvel, he knows he's going to die of cancer, he's pro-reg, buy his new series."
