My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on several websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

C'mon, people. Clearly the ape most worthy of #100 has to be Titano. (Do any of these other apes have Kryptonite vision? No? Well, there you have it. Can't argue with that, can you?)

Mallah, Detective Chimp and Ape-X are the only ones left? Has the world gone mad?!

The Ultra-Humanite! I realize he wasn't originally an ape, but he usually is one! And he's the greatest albino gorilla ever!

I used that cover to win a contest that Scott Shaw! created on his Oddball Comics column, when it was appearing on CBR.

I love this book! Not only does it have Animal Man, but its just a fun cover overall!

Thanks for posting this up.

Bill...if you run out of apes before 4/30, there's always the All Purpose Espionage Squad from Young Justice. That counts under "Ape-ril," yes?

Um, been a while since I took a primate class, but a man that turned into a gorilla would be an ape. Gorilla = ape, human = ape. (no tail)

I'm going to have to say Mallah too. You already did Grodd and Gorilla Man. The Best remaining ones are Mallah, Detective Chimp, and Ape-X (from Squadron Supreme).

For the 100th edition, how about Monsieur Mallah? Intelligent gorilla, wears an ammo belt, speaks with a French accent...and then it turns out that he's gay. For the guy who made him smart. And the guy is a brain in a jar.

A Mod in a zoot suit? Pshaw! Much less believable than the human-turned-gorilla angle. But entirely consistent with 1960s DC's habit of confusing youth movements (as, for example, in Bob Haney's 1950s Beatnik-speak in the mouths of '60s teenagers).
