Consider your example of the opening sequence, scientist on the run from gov&#039;t agents: beyond-standard stuff, but Cosby/Stokes get the core plot points across within two pages. No decompresison here.

I also liked Carter&#039;s art, though an unfortunate side effect of his &quot;lined&quot; faces and the coloring resulted in this reader&#039;s initial confusion between the scientist and the separated dad.

Best moment in the book: when Mr. Stuffins receives his &quot;mission orders.&quot;</description>
