MacPherson Does It Again!

Darn that blazing blogging speed of Don MacPherson! He beat me to an interesting comic book topic again! This time, it is a more positive entry about DC, more specifically, their impressive quick move to capitalize on the news that an element containing the chemical composition as Kryptonite has been discovered! Read about it here at Don's neat blog, Eye on Comics.

Brian, your obvious bigoted fear of extraterrestrial minerals disgusts me.

Thanks for the kind words, Brian. And for the plug!

You do realise that they discovered KRYPTON ITSELF the other day, right? Red dwarf star, heavy gravity and all?

That wacky Superboy and his fourth-waltering punch!

So what, exactly, is "the chemical composition for kryptonite?"

"Sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide with fluorine" - but that's according to a scene in Superman Returns. Have the comics ever mentioned anything like this? http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2007/04/24/kryptonite_pla.html?category=earth&guid=20070424170030&dcitc=w19-502-ak-0000

I would say that "Superman Returns" ability to interpret the makeup of Kryptonite should be compared to it's ability to interpret Superman's fathering skills.
