Pretty creepy that this is one of the few things from Seven Soldiers that made it into the regular DC Universe continuity.

If by pretty creepy you mean hot….

Or it could be part of Paul Dini’s terms for writing Countdown.

“I need more Zatanna ticked out like Black Queen!”

If by “hot”, you mean pathetic…

Agreed. “Ah! Finally, we have an excuse to underdress Zatanna as much as possible! Thanks, Grant!”

SIGH.

I’m surprised she’s wearing clothes at all.

They just _had_ to include a picture of that bozo Crowley behind her, didn’t they? It almost makes sense that Zatanna is in a ridiculous and objectifying attire in front of it. There is some thematic coherence at least.

Duh HAWtNEzS!

If by “creepy” you mean “totally predictable and expected under the reign of Dan ‘Lowest Common Denominator’ Didio” than yeah, I’d have to agree

Didn’t *most* of Seven Soldiers make it into regular DC Universe continuity? Bulletgirl, Guardian, Klarion, Shilo, and so forth?

I liked Zatanna better with the red bug on her head.

Hey! Cool! A Hellfire Club crossover!

Is this panel from 7 Soldiers? I can’t remember it.

Yeah, seriously, I’d much prefer to be checking out that Citizen Steel cover, because, you know, girls are icky.

No, it’s from the latest issue of Superman, but it is Zatanna in the same pose (and outfit) that she was wearing on the cover of Seven Soldiers: Zatanna #3.

Now see, folks, I can totally understand how THAT would seem homophobic.

Where’s the outrage?
