I picked this up based on your recommendation (didn't read the review, just the header), and loved it. The Dragon Man and duckling stories were definitely the best ones.

As for the poet story, two things. One, Bernard was a real character from Roy Thomas's run on the book (but he never had mutant powers there), and Two, I enjoyed how his poetry was at times a counterpoint to the action.
