YOU Can Help Make MoCCA Even COOLer!

MoCCA, The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art now has a library that is open to the public on Sunday! You can come by and read comics, and do so in comfort! Here is a list of all the stuff they have in their collection.

But MoCCA could also use your help! Here is Gina Gagliano, MoCCA Librarian, to give you the low down:

I’m asking for your help in building this library. If you have graphic novels you no longer have room for in your home, comics you have spare copies of, or books that you’ve created, we’d love to have them for our library. We only take books with spines (except if they’re mini-comics–we take mini-comics, too!), but that’s the sum and total of our donation restrictions. And we’re a 501 (c)(3) organization, so everything you give us is tax deductible for you–and it goes to a great cause.

A brief MoCCA membership plug: membership at the museum is $35 a year, and if you become a member, you can visit our library whenever the museum’s open. Where can you go wrong with that? (If you’re interested in learning more, you can e-mail Meredith Conti at membership@moccany.org, and she’ll take you from there.)

Sure sounds good to me! I should get out some of my old comics together!!
