Oops…a Year Already!

It just occurred to me that we’ve been hosted by Comic Book Resources for over a year now (it was a year Friday, and it just occurred to me as I was typing this that we missed starting on Bob Dylan’s birthday by a single freakin’ day! That would have been awesome!). Well, that’s neat, no?
Thanks to Jonah for the hosting. It’s been a lot cooler than our old blogger digs (no offense, Blogger!). Thanks again to Stephen for designing the place!

Congrats guys! You are the only blog I read on a near-daily basis. Always good stuff. I like the Snark-free articles, plus the reviews and Judging Books By Their Covers segments are always a lot of fun.

Definitely my favorite blog for keeping tabs on the world of comics. Good job, guys!
Though I still think it’s a mistake that CBR doesn’t have SOMETHING (even a redirect) at BLOG.comicbookresources.com

Never even thought of it, really. We just took the same web address we had before and changed “blogspot” to “comicbookresources.”
I’ll mention the blog thing to Jonah.

I just thought it was weird that CBR “acquired” CSBG because CBR needed a blog then didn’t link it on their homepage or even put it in the most obvious place where casual websurfers could find it. I know CBR always links to the urban legends posts and other stuff every once in a while. But you guys do good work and deserve more props

Actually, we do link to the blog on the front page of the site — there’s a nice feed of the last 10 stories from the blog right there. That being said, I know it’s not in a great place. The front page of CBR is a mess layout wise, but we are working on that. The redesign is in progress and on that new front page CSBG is much more prominently featured.

Congrats to Brian and the entire CSBG crew! They’ve done a fantastic job this past year and the added exposure they’ve received has turned CSBG blog from a great blog to an excellent one! Looking forward to more of the same in year two!
