BOOM! has published a handful of great books lately. I look forward to checking out LoM.

And HARD-BOI…er, I mean HARD-BULLIED is just fucking great. Action/noir fans would be nuts not to pick it up.

Good luck with that one too. I have the two volumes and they’re great, but they seemed to take me forever to read through. They just don’t write comics with that dense amount of dialogue and exposition anymore…

Aargh, I was really looking forward to this week’s Fallen Angel but my comic shop’s entire shipment of it got damaged, so I have to wait until next week to read it.

Blue Beetle was good overall (I especially liked Jaime’s battle with LiveWire), though I was disappinted that we didn’t see MORE of Jaime talking to Superman. The cover gives the impression it will be an issue about them interacting. Given how much I’ve enjoyed watching Jaime team up with Bats, I was looking forward to seeing him spend some time with the other half of World’s Finest. Then when Superman finally does show up towards the end of the issue, most of their dialogue is ‘off camera’ and Superman finally replies to Jaime with something Fred McMurray would say. Very much looking forward to Rogers and Albuquerque coming back next issue…

Thanks for the kind review. Where you able to get a hold of issue #1?

BTW…you mention the book as”Lost on Mission” in the Fall of Cthulhu review…maybe I will use that as the title for the next series!
