Sorry you didn't dig issue 2. I disagree with your statement and feel issue one is of consequence since this is a 5 issue story. I do think you pointed out some very perceptive observations on the spy genre. And hope you will give the rest of the series a try.

Aww, I'm just a schlub who sometimes reads comics and then blogs about them. I had my own short-lived blog a couple years ago (may it rest in pieces) before being invited to contribute to CSBG when it was at Blogger. When CSBG moved from Blogger to CBR, it threw me into such a deep funk that I couldn't read comics for a year. Yeah, that's it.

As for reading locale, I'm not one for the toilet. My legs go to sleep after a while. Going to the john is like a black ops mission -- get in and get out.

As for the “phase where you don’t feel like reading comics,” I get that too, although it lasts something like seven minutes or so, which, coincidentally, is the time that I personally require in the bathroom.

I sometimes get it that feeling, not reading comics that is, but it usually only happens when I don't have new comics, and it's down to re-reading them.
Luckily I have exceptional taste, so I just look at my book shelf for another 30seconds, and I find something to read.
As for going to the bathroom, sometimes there's no better spot to sit down and read a comic - it's relaxation for both the body and the mind.

Except that I dunno nuthin' about no TV shows.
