Honestly, it's the sort of thing you'd do if you were writing a parody of an Austen comic.

How did he ever get work?
Let alone so much of it on top selling titles.

"Dakin" is a company that makes teddy bears. When I was very young I had a teddy bear that had a little plastic medal that had the company's name on it, so I just made that the bear's name. So... Yeah. Not a real tough guy name in my book.

The whole Juggernaut thing reminds me so much of the "Hulk does/doesn't kill people" back-and-forth snitfest writers have been engaging in. Really silly and petty.

I remember a "Twisted Toyfare Theatre" where Daredevil sued Ben Affleck for the crap movie about his life. At one point, She-Hulk (representing Affleck) hits on Spider-Man while he's on the stand, and he's all, "Once you go Juggernaut, it's physically impossible to go back." Angry, She-Hulk moved that all Chuck Austen's issues be stricken from the record, and the judge (a Quinte... Quintessa... that multiface thing from Transformers agreed. Cut to Nightcrawler: "Voo hoo! I don't suck anymore!" Austen-bashing...it never gets old.

I enjoyed how much the Sinestro Corps story was compressed. Lot of story in one book.

Personally I so far like the Captain Atom as Monarch thing. Nothing I've seen so far indicates he's a bad guy, especially since the Monitors in Countdown are really being portrayed as mostly a bunch of dicks, anyway.

Given all the Earth 1 references in Countdown, and having that "unbeatable" team on the last page of Sinestro Corps, I'm predicting that they're somehow going to bring back the Earth 1 Superman (the real one), who'll be able to take the Corps down in about two pages.

You just know more about the celebrity names because they're famous and get more exposure, but trust me, blacks got them beat! I've met girls named Ta-Tanisha, Starneisha, Lexxus (sic), Tangela and Chiffonia. Beyonce ain't much better!
