My copies of #21-22, 24-27 all show "Hulk" in the indicia, NOT "The Hulk!", so the GCD is correct.

I love that the site exists and am thankful for all of its contributors.

As for the Ghost/Ghosts thing, it was split because we always want folks to be able to search on the exact indica and find their book. We are working on a new background layout that will fix this problem, and will connect the two series together if you search for Ghosts and just the one issue if you search for Ghost. That's all in the planning stages and a ways off but we are moving in that direction.

Almost 108,000 books indexed and over 150,000 covers uploaded. I'm sure there is some incorrect information out there, but the vast majority is correct. We've been working with copies of DC's Schwartz editor records they generously let us copy and confirming all the credits on those. I recently found an issue of Flash, for example, that lists Frank McLaughlin as a co-inker with Giordano but Schwartz's records list solely Giordano. Things like that are being documented so the info will not be lost for future researchers.

As a registered contributer to GCD, I am glad to see that last. While I would be dishonest to deny that there is some misinfornmation, I have yet to encounter any that was truly significant---unless you call listing Marvel's late '70s and early '80s
(initially) full color magazine THE HULK! as simply HULK (no article, no exclamation mark) and not responding to an inquiry if the indicia gave it that way (not likely, I feel), or listing the first issue of DC's long-running horror comic GHOSTS as a separate series because the publishers inadvertently left the "s" off the title in the indicia! Sparse indexes are plentiful, unfortunately, but I am trying to remedy that situation right now, as much as I can with the slight remnants I still possess of my once large collection. For example, I have recently asked that NOW Comics' two Green Hornet spinoff miniseries KATO & KATO II be pulled and placed in my "Reserved" folder, as the "Character Appearances" lists are incomplete & improperly located in the "Indexer's Notes" slots, there are no plot synopses or notes as to where the two stories chronologically fall in relation to the regular series, nor entries for the other features in the issues, principally letter columns in each mini's final number. I am glad that you are going to give the GCD another chance.

As to criticism of the content, all I can say is that we are always trying to fill out old entries even as we add new ones, and any help is cheerfully accepted, whether it be single corrections sent to our error list or another volunteer indexer.

Obviously I need to go look again...
