Kitsons' work here surpasses his work on Legion.
One of the Legion reader mail sections explained that Kitson actually made a bunch of contributions to Legion's writing - and ever since he's been off, Legion's been boring me. So I'm wondering if Kitson has creative input on Order's writing.

So is Happy really dead now or what?

Fraction is amazing. And any comic that ends with an onslaught of Soviet Super-Soldiers is automatically badass. (Unless that comic was created in the 1990s).

I wonder how much he'll play into the "Strikeforce Morituri" potential of the team with their one-year built-in flameouts?

I really enjoyed it. Kinda nice to see a first issue that completely sets the stage with a distinct beginning, middle, and end instead of dragging out the origin for 4 issues. Expectedly sharp writing from Matt Fraction, nice art from Barry Kitson (who I was previously only familiar with from his work on LSH; I would never have recognized the interiors as his if not for having read so much about his involvement beforehand). I haven't regularly bought a mainstream continuity Marvel book in years, but I'll stick around for this one.

Reminds me of the first X-Force issue of the team that would eventually become X-Statix.

Except less funny.
