I think the Waid/Wieringo Fantastic Four run is some of the best comics ever.

I enjoyed what I read of their Flash run, too (no pun intended). It's unfortunate that probably his most significant creation for DC, Impulse, was recently killed off (mercifully, tho, considering what had been done to the character in recent years).

Didn't he do the new costume for the original Green Goblin, with the scale-mail nastier mask?

I can't pick a favorite. All of his runs were great.

Flash #91 is one of the greatest single issues of all time-- and is showing up in the new Greatest Flash Stories Ever Told, which I think is coming out this week.

It's hard to say whether I preferred Tellos or the Waid/Wieringo Flash. The latter is definitive, and I've got a long history with the Flash, but I also really liked Tellos. In fact, in a strange case of timing, I had just re-read Tellos this weekend, which got me excited about the hints he'd made in his blog about getting the book going again... and made Monday's news hit even harder.

My faves are the Flash/Impulse runs with Mark Waid and his own work, Tellos.

Another great artist taken too soon!

Tellos is my favourite Ringo run. Any stories drawn by anyone else just aren't the same.

Does this Ultimate Civil War Spider-Ham cover counts?
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/182/402369882_d39e114921_o.jpg

---------------

I have yet to read Mike's Flash or FF unfortunately, but his Sesational Spider-Man was one of the books I fell in love with when I was new to comics.

He surely will be missed.

RIP, Mike.

It's a shame. I've just recently been collecting the Waid/Weiringo 'Fantastic Four' run, and was just thinking how much I liked his style.

My fave Wieringo was, no doubt, Tellos! Great fantasy comic and creator-owned to boot! What could be better?

Sadly now Ringo will never have the chance to get back to it...

Best,
Hunter (Pedro Bouça)

I gotta say that Flash is my favorite Wieringo work. But I'm wearing a Flash t-shirt right now, so I'm probably biased.

I'm torn on a favourite run between his and Waid's FF and his and Dezago's Sensational Spider-Man. I know Sensational was one of those 90's Spidey comics that everyone seems to deny the existence of, but it was really cool. I didn't read it at the time, but when I went back to scopp up those issues, they really were a pleasure to read.

My favorite Ringo run would have to be Flash. It was the first of his work I saw, and it left a huge impression on me. It's because of the Waid/Ringo run that Wally West is easily one of my top 5 superheroes of all time. Flash #0 is still one of my favorite comics of all time.

X-Men Rarities:

Which I have and whose cover looks very odd to me. Perhaps it's because Ringo is inked by Austin instead of Kesel.

Cover theme:

Swarm, Rampage, and Darkstar all first appeared in Marvel's 1970s "Champions" series.

Hey, I got one. I almost never get these.
