Wow, great job on finding the best, most apt Ringo cover for the occasion. It's almost eerie how fitting that is.

Good find. I loved that issue (Which says a lot, because it was a Genesis tie-in).

I prefer this one. I feel it is somber, but a little more hopeful.

I've found that his memorial sketch of Bart Allen as Impulse and as the Flash has taken on a new significance.

Correct? It sure is.
Depressing? That too.
I miss Ringo.

Thanks for all the love CSBG's been showing Ringo, Brian - it means a lot to those of us who were really into his artwork...

Wieringo was one of my absolute favorite artists...Incredibly tragic loss for us fans out there.. Other comicbook creators that have passed away lately were at least of old age, drinkers, smokers etc. Wieringo didn't apply to any of said categories. So young and with so many more stories to tell. I wish I could have met him in person. His work will remain one of my all-time favorites. Re-reading his run with Waid on the Flash as a matter of fact now. Rest in peace Mr.Wieringo. You will be sorely missed
