That's one of my favorite issues of JLE, a series that often gets ignored in favor of JLI, a series that often gets ignored in favor of Grant Morrison's JLA. But yeah, that Beefeater issue is terrific, and perfectly placed within the series. It had just come off the Extremists storyline (which was great, the first time, but pretty darn serious for a story about an unfrozen Walt Disney-figure). This was a great change of pace, and one of my favorite comics ever. Ooh, good choice! That’s one of my favorite issues of JLE, a series that often gets ignored in favor of JLI, a series that often gets ignored in favor of Grant Morrison’s JLA.

But yeah, that Beefeater issue is terrific, and perfectly placed within the series.
