Mostly I remember them gushing with praise and having affirming responses sprinkled with fake modesty! That's not fair for a lot of 'em, I know. But I can't say I really miss them ever since i mostly gave up single issues and went with trades years ago. This column on the other hand, glad it's back. I'll have to check that site sometime since this looks pretty funny. The art could use some work though. A bit more time and dynamism. Compare those background characters in that spread to the main ones, looks like the artist didn't really feel like finishing the drawing anymore. From the foreground it's obvious he can do better.
