any chance we will be able to see a list of character that got votes but did not make the top 50?

Most likely, that could be arranged.

What's the range of points collected so far?

Still a lot to count, but I'd say by the end, we'll probably end up with a #1 vote getter with over 2,000 points, which is pretty nuts.

That would still mean less than half of the voters voted for him/her, though.

#2 and #1 on the same day? Verrrrry interesting.
A list of those receiving only one vote would be entertaining.
Thanks for doing this.

Having 1 and 2 on the same day is a good idea as I imagine it will be pretty obvious which character made it to 1 once you you know what 50 to 2 are.
How many different characters were nominated in total?

Exactly the logic behind it.
I'm not nearly finished counting, so I couldn't tell you yet.
A lot, though!

How do you figure?
Remember, characters can appear on lists from #1-10, for differing point totals, so a character can be #10 on every single ballot, and still have less than 600 points.

I should have said "less than half voted for him for first."

Oh, gotcha.
Yeah, that's true.

Thanks for the reminder Brian! I made up my list a couple nights ago (had to switch up the rankings a few times — wonder if I'll change my mind again as I type it up?!) and will shoot it off presently.
But DAMN! I'll be camping by the time you get to the big reveal of the list toppers. I'll be in suspense for days. Can you send a psychic download of the answers? (One of my should-he-or-shouldn't-he-make-the-cut characters could: Go Tellus!)

Is it sad that I am counting the hours until the lists get posted?
Never mind. I know the answer.

Really excited for this. I was surprised how hard it was to come up with 10 characters for each company. I have my favorites, but it was weird coming up with the top 5-10, since there were so many characters that I liked equally.
