Light Brigade was good, but besides some fill-ins, that’s all I’ve seen from him as a writer, so it was weird to see DC go full force for the fellow (even though he WAS the editor on Seven Soldiers, which gives him many cool points). Luckily, from the first couple issues of Black Adam, their faith was well-founded.

I’m really enjoying Black Adam, but his retro-Outsiders fill-in story was really horrible.
I pray the Outsiders story was a single misstep, since he’ll soon be writing my favorite DC book (GL Corps).

Well he did used to be Archie Goodman’s assistant on StarMan, so maybe some of it rubbed off.

That Outsiders story was real real bad.
Black Adam has been good so far. I really need to read Light Brigade.
In general, it’s a wait and see sort of thing.
