Really slow and boring, and somehow we were supposed to care about characters that the book itself wasn't interested in exploring. It was alos the height of Bendis' dialogue tic, where it takes thirty speech bubbles to have a ten-second conversation. The Pulse was terrible. Volume 2 of The Pulse is damn-near unreadable, and made me drop everything related to Jessica Jones, which is a shame, because she's an excellent character.
