Is it wrong that my favorite Phantom Stranger related moment is when John Constantine accidentally pissed on him?

Someone likes Cyborg (outside of the cartoon version)? I HATE HUMANITY.

Sgt. Rock and the Easy Co. are great. I’m sure they would have ranked higher had more people thought of them.

Finally, Sgt Rock. I can’t believe he didn’t rank higher. At least he (barely) cracked the top 100. Now where’s Haunted Tank and Kamandi?

I’m with Joe Rice–my kids watch Teen Titans all the time and I’m dreading when they ask to read the comics.

Cyborg has to have one of the single worst costumes in comics. The semi-exposed legs? The armored underpants and muscle shirt? The superfluous headband? All terrible.

Kamandi? I wouldn’t vote for him if he were the last boy on earth!
Um, I just felt like saying that. Nothing to see here. Carry on.
Except maybe this: It’s a shame the Stranger* didn’t rate higher. Not many can carry off the big pimpin’ medallion look the way he can.
*Phantom Stranger, that is. I’d be surprised if the big goateed cosmic Marvel guy even made anyone’s top 500 list.

Cyborg and his metal underpants are one of three reasons why I have never been able to read Teen Titans. The other two are Beast Boy (I can’t really explain this one) and Starfire, with her blank staring eyes and vacant expression. Oh, and giant hair.

Yay, Captain Atom! Shame they’ve ret-ret-con’d him back into being Monarch… I look forward (:

I’ve got one little window for any hope of Mxy or Mr. Mind.
Gee whiz.

Keep the faith! One of those two WILL appear tomorrow.

Yes.
It was clearly Ennis’ favorite moment, too– but I’ll give him credit for having Zatanna not find it funny.
Glad to see the Stranger squeezed into the top 100!

Nice to see Captain Atom finally show up. That just leaves Crazy Jane from my list of DC characters. I’m with TF_Loki, it’s a shame DC decided Armageddon 2001 was soooooo good we had to have it all over again. :rolls eyes: Just leave Cap alone and drop this whole Monarch crap…

OK, let’s see, four from my list wound up in the Top 50 (Hal Jordan, Ambush Bug, Darkseid and the Question), and the others are . . . nowhere, man.
What, still no love for Matter-Eater Lad, Kid Eternity, Dr. Thirteen, Prez, Egg Fu or Hoppy the Marvel Bunny? There’s no justice. (No peace!)

Wow, I had no clue there was this much hate for Cyborg.

That’s why he has so much angst, Conor.

He must hate himself to go out looking like that.

It’s funny how many reasonable characters there are left for the last 5 in the top 100. My personal preference for the last would be something like Fire, Skeets, Poison Ivy, Sinestro, and Gorilla Grodd, none of whom have been mentioned by the various commentators.

Alan More writing The Stranger in Swamp Thing is probably some of the BEST comics writing ever.

That’s pretty much why the Stranger didn’t make my top ten. He was an initial thought, but then I realized I mostly only like him when written by Moore.
