Dan McDaid is head and shoulders above the rest. And it’s not even close.

He is good, but he was two votes away from being kicked out last week – but then both he and the guy who came last last week (I forget his name but he’s the one who started off with the goggles shot in the first week) were both victims of just not being suited to the material.

Charles Paul Wilson III draws almost exactly like a younger Alan Davis. And that’s a good thing.

I was getting more of a Mike McKone vibe from him, but I see where you’re coming from.

From this week’s results I’d say the final should be between Charles Paul Wilson III and Dan McDaid. That said I also think both of the people who got kicked out last week should still be in the competition.

I heard about a superhero group in a role-playing game called the Lug Nuts. The name wasn’t explained, but I figured it out: they keep the wheels from coming off of society.

— Theme Challenge. Hm…all three issues feature characters who became the leaders of big-name teams? Polar Boy came to run the Legion of Super-Heroes, the Titans Plague story featured Tim Drake (who later led Young Justice and the more recent Titans), and Monica Rambeau rose to lead the Avengers from rookie status. In fact, you could go so far as to say “rookie who shot to team leader” is the theme.
