Toward the end of the interview, Williams verifies the identity of the writer of DC’s new series about one of the more “controversial” characters to come out of 52. Consider this a blind item…blind as a bat.

Haven’t listened to the interview yet, but I assume you’re talking about the much-delayed Batwoman series? According to Rich Johnston in his Lying In The Gutters column, it’s Greg Rucka. But the series is being held up because DC (or Time Warner) are having cold feet about a high profile ‘gay character’ in their Bat-verse cash cow. Which is a sad way, if true, to treat any project with Rucka and Williams attached to it…
