But both the Sunpyres are dead right now. Have been for years, unless I missed something. Plus they're not really the same character, any more than the Green Goblin from Loners is the same as Norman Osborne.

My guess is Tattoo, alias Longstrike. Formerly an X-Man until she lost her powers. She and her brother are currently serving on the New Warriors team, and she's been KIA. But I don't know about #5, so it's just a guess.

Technically the character could be Jean Grey, counting Madelyne as the sibling. Last time I checked Jean still had an evil double running around in Excalibur. However, being an evil alternate universe version of the X-Men, that may be too close.

Was Rachel Summers ever killed? She's an AU mutant former X-Man currently serving on a non-X team.

Cover theme game:

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that all three include characters who were in books that got cancelled this year: Prodigy is (and Sofia was) in New X-Men, which is apparently set to end after Messiah Complex. Spider-Woman II was in Omega Flight, which was downgraded from an ongoing to a miniseries and likely won't be seen again. Dazzler is in New Excalibur, which just ended a couple weeks back. I'm probably wrong, but it's worth a shot.

I'd go with Billy for the spelling bee championship, hes always been shown to be pretty dang smart.

I was thinking Aurora up until #3, then I was thinking Northstar until #5 just completely confused the heck out of me.

Well it's a girl, so...

Magik - was never a member of the X-men

Aurora - not dead/not officially an X-man/woman

Psylocke - not technically dead

Sunpyre - briefly a member of the X-men, murdered during her tenure with X-Corps, her brother is Sunfire and an extra-dimensional counterpart of hers is a member of Big Hero 6.
