The sequence where the porn 'star' talks to Jones about her life was one of the most masterful sequences I've seen for a long time.
Just the right amount of surrealness, as the character just spilled it all out, whilst you could feel the weed affecting Jones as it happened.
Perfect synergy between the writer and the artist.

Man, that first arc was pitch-perfect, featuring perhaps the most masterful use of color in comics.

Can't wait to see the series return in '08.

I agree this is a great Warren Ellis title, which is why its disappearance halfway through its second story line was so disappointing.

Half the joke is that Ellis said it was being stopped to ramp up to monthly... and then it vanished. Fucking tragic.

Maybe someday it'll return, but I'll be waiting for the trade then.
