Avenue Q was playing in San Diego during Comic-Con International this year, just a few blocks from the convention center. My wife and I skipped preview night to go see it (for the second time — we’d caught it in Las Vegas the year before), and there were a bunch of other con-goers in the audience. During intermission I heard someone talking on the phone about her efforts to get into the Stardust preview, for instance.

Yeah, Trickster discovered he cared for his gay buddy enough to take a lethal bullet for him, which also made me think of “If You Were Gay” (“it’d be okay – I’d shout ‘hooray!’”).

“Avenue Q” is a really genius miracle.

On a side note, I hear they killed Trickster and left Piper alive. If they were gonna kill off one of those two characters, well … [shrug] I guess that’s progress. I think Marvel woulda killed Piper for sure.

Alls I needs was a clear recording (after not finding a live one), and the KH2 was the clearest sounding one I found – although, as you said, there were so many out there, I’ll admit I didn’t look past two-three pages of them!

Youtube is clogged with fan videos of “Schadenfreude,” “The Internet Is For Porn,” and “Everyone’s A Little Bit Racist,” so I’m not at all surprised you couldn’t find live versions of the first two.

I am rather shocked that you think that KH2 video is the best one you could find for “Shcadenfreude,” though.
