Oh well….wait!!…what’s that?
It’s a Christmas miracle!!!

And check out the Newsarama interview, where he explains that he’s been wanting to do more stuff with New Frontier, but DC kept turning him down – that part had me dumbfounded…

Didn’t he say he said all he wanted on superheroes with New Frontier and for the time being there weren’t any superhero comics he really wanted to do? I thought I read something along those lines when he announced he was leaving The Spirit. He was working on two OGN’s and wasn’t really hanging with the big two anymore.
I’d rather see those OGN’s but this still is very good news. That being said, Cooke publishing something always sounds like good news to me. That man could draw a comic with nothing but fart jokes and I’d stil give it a shot.

Why does that leave you dumbfounded? Nothing surprising about Didio and company standing in the way of good comics, I find.

Well I’m sure the movie coming out in 2 monthes had nothing to do with this…
Regardless, this is wonderful news.

We should at least be thankful we never saw Countdown: The Search For Ray Palmer: New Frontier.

i’ll buy anything cooke does since i got the absolute new frontier…which is o longer absolute
maybe THAT’S why they turned him down the first couple times, but now they can’t resist cashing in on a movie – they should just release that theatrically instead of the george miller thing

Give them time. After all, wasn’t New Frontier earth explicitly named as one of the 52 earths or am I mistaken?

It was. New Frontier Wonder Woman actually shows up in the latest Arena, so we can all look forward to the groundbreaking depiction of her getting her face ripped off by the extreme n’ kewl WW of Earth Douchebag or something equally retarded.

I’d buy a series based on the New Frontier–great story, work, and concept.

I’d love an action figure of J’onn in his business suit from the mini. He looked so good.
