Man, whatever these people do, they shouldn’t give this guy what he wants! He’ll definitely use it to break through a wall and fly away, all the while shouting, “Thou canst hold me! Taste the wrath of Mjolnir!”

Just to be fair, he’s not asking for a literal hammer. A Thor’s Hammer is a pendant that serves as a religious symbol to followers of Asatru, and it’s already been ruled by a federal judge that inmates that are followers of Asatru have the right to keep them.

I’m a Correctional Officer in Missouri, and have been for over six years, and in that time, I’ve seen A LOT of inmates “practice” various religions “faithfully” any time they can get any special treatment from the state and/or media.
